Call Forwarding and routing incoming calls | Wireless from AT&T, formerly Cingular

Call Forwarding and routing incoming calls | Wireless from AT&T, formerly Cingular

Call Forwarding lets you forward your incoming wireless calls to another phone number. Airtime charges, plus any applicable long distance and/or roaming charges, are incurred for calls forwarded via the wireless network.

With Call Forwarding activated:

  • You can continue to make outgoing calls from your telephone. Incoming calls will be forwarded.
  • When the telephone number to which your calls are being forwarded is busy, callers to your number will receive a busy signal.
  • To change the number to which your calls are forwarded, deactivate the feature. Then, follow the activation instructions to enter the new number.

Call Forwarding is included on all AT&T and former AT&T Wireless rate plans. Forwarded calls are billed airtime from the time the call is answered until it is ended. Each call forwarded may receive, depending on your location, per minute/per call or interconnect charges based on where the call is forwarded. Long Distance charges apply if the call is forwarded to a long distance number. If you are on a former AT&T Wireless rate plan, call forwarding minutes may not apply to your included minutes.

Customers on Former AT&T Wireless Plans

If you are using a phone purchased from the former AT&T Wireless, you may use the following additional Call Forwarding features:

  • Call Forward Immediate—Send all calls to another number instantly.
  • Call Forward Busy—Send calls that reach a busy signal to another number.
  • Call Forward No Reply—Send calls that go unanswered on your wireless phone to another number.
  • Call Forward Not Reachable conditions (GSM phones only)—Send calls elsewhere if your phone is off or not in the service area.

Using Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding remains active until you deactivate the feature. Call Forwarding overrides voice mail, when applicable.

Basketball System Buyers Guide - Dick's Sporting Goods

Basketball System Buyers Guide - Dick's Sporting Goods

Things I want:

-Adjustable (usually they are 7.5-10 feet)
-(and easy to adjust!!!)
-bigger is better for beginner's (come as big as 72 inches or as small as 52)
-in-ground
-We want to insert a ground sleeve into a hole in the ground and insert the pole for some portability (The in-ground system will require a minimum of six 90-pound bags of cement to secure in the ground)
-re: backboard: (probably acrylic and rectangular)
  • Backboards come in a variety of materials, ranging from transparent plastic (Plexiglas ) to acrylic, graphite or a resin material
  • Fiberglass and graphite backboards play the most like real indoor baskets but are prone to breakage
  • Acrylic backboards look much like regular indoor baskets but are not as rigid as other materials. Most come with a steel frame for support.
  • Backboard sizes range from 40 inches to 54 inches, with some as large as 72 inches, with the larger size better for beginners
  • Backboard shapes are usually rectangular or fan shaped
    • Rectangular give more room to shoot at and generally cost a bit more
    • Fan shaped look more streamlined but give less room for bank shots

Play-well may be the place. They do installation. (I can ask Skip if the price seems okay or outrageous).

They install the All-American System.

At first I thought I wanted the Signature Series, MVP (it is 72 inches)...but given the small space and the fear of the ball flying over the fence, it might make more sense to get the

Captain ( 6 feet square offset pole....60 inch backboard) or the

Contender (4 feet square offset pole....54 inch backboard) or the others

(LOOKING AT THE DEFINITION OF THE OFFSET POLE, I THINK i WANT 4 FEET)

Not sure what 6' Square Offset Pole Design means (but it might mean the nasket is 6 feet from the pole - better make sure that is ok (it might not be unless we put the pole behind the palm trees

It adjust from 6 feet to 10 feet

it sounds as if the internal system is easy to adjust...double check with them

I spoke with kathleen...the one i want (inground-signature-champion or contender) costs about $1000 plus $99 for the pole padding

complete installation is 689

need an 18 inch by 18 inch hole...the pole is 6 inches and you need 6 inches of perimeter on all 4 sides

i can't recall the exact details, but without full installation, i think someone needs to go out to Pasadena to pick up the sleeve that sits in the cement.

seems like i just need to get someone to cut out some brick and then have them come do the installation...i should try to get the to cut the brick
